THE ACORNS INFANTS SCHOOL
The Acorns School operates as a federated school from two bases in Betchworth and Leigh. The Acting School Head is Mrs Jan Steel, who has taken over from Julie Trafford who was head for 4 years from 2005. The School takes children at the age of 4 until 7, and pupils thereafter attend a variety of schools in the Dorking and Reigate area.
The Acorns Infant School is supported by an on site nursery and offers local parents a continuous Early Years learning programme for their children with a high ratio of adults to children. Happily this is proving to be a popular facility.
