10-4 on Saturday 30 November
12-4 on Sunday 1 December
20 local clubs/organisations/businesses have each constructed an Alternative Christmas Tree. These will all be on show in St. Michael’s Betchworth. We would love as many people to come and view them. There is no entry fee but we would like people to buy a voting slip (or two) at £1 each to vote for their favourite tree.
There are two trophies on offer this year with a special trophy for the best junior tree.
Come and see our 8ft knitted Tree constructed of beautiful white cot blankets and comfort squares for premature babies in the neo natal units in 3 hospitals, 2 locally and one in Manchester, where apparently a lot of Syrian refugees have been housed. We are also hoping to send some out to Sri Lanka.
There will be a refreshment stall selling amazing home made cake and biscuits together with tea and coffee, and a Tradecraft stall with Christmas goodies.
There will also be a competition to win a beautiful iced Christmas cake, again just £1 a guess!
Please come and see these amazing trees made by our local organisations….. and vote for your favourites!
